Labor law and civil law in Kiel

Dr. Hartmann joined our Kiel office in 2018; her practice focuses on employment law and covers the entire spectrum of individual and collective employment law. She advises and represents you in employment law and strategic matters, inter alia, in contract drafting issues, employment law disputes – in particular terminations -, in labor court proceedings and in the implementation of operational new and restructuring measures.
Dr. Hartmann is a trained notary clerk with several years of professional experience. After completing her law studies in Kiel, she was active in research and teaching in civil law as well as in civil procedural law. In doing so, she distinguished herself academically, in particular as an author in the major commentary of the ZPO by Wieczorek/Schütze. During her time as a lawyer, Dr. Hartmann also taught civil procedure law.

  • Training as and employment as a notary clerk in Schwerin
  • Study of law in Kiel
  • Research assistant and doctorate at the Chair of Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel
  • Legal traineeship in the district court of Kiel from 2015 to 2017
  • Working as a lawyer since 2018
  • Lecturer at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel in 2020 and 2021
  • Not a partner within the meaning of the German Law governing partnerships (PartGG).
